Established in 1996 by Mitchell Jackson, Sovereign Horseboxes has gone from strength to strength and are now among the leading quality horsebox manufacturers in the UK. Sovereign Horseboxes have a passion for building luxury, bespoke horseboxes born from a wealth of knowledge, experience & craftsmanship. Every Sovereign Horsebox is hand crafted in Britain. Sovereign also repair, re-sprays, MOT and service all types of horseboxes from 7.5t to 26t.

Following increasing demand for custom paint designs on the horseboxes Mitch recently took the decision to upgrade the business by introducing an in house paint booth, preparation area and paint mixing room. By bringing its paint operations in-house Sovereign now offers a completely flexible solution for its customers.

The most recent horsebox built on an Iveco chassis is an Iveco ML120EL18P. A 12-tonne gross weight chassis was chosen as a lower gross weight chassis can be overloaded. The low ride chassis is perfect for horsebox requirements, enabling ease of access for passengers too and it's more driver-friendly. Rear air suspension provides a smooth ride for passengers and horse. The 180bhp engine is just the right horsepower (excuse the pun) to transport horses safely and comfortably in a controlled manner.
