GT Trax Accelerates Its Transport Fleet With A New Vehicle From Guest Truck and Van

GT TRAX ACCELERATES ITS TRANSPORT FLEET WITH A NEW VEHICLE FROM GUEST TRUCK AND VAN
The equipment rental specialists, GT Trax, has enlarged and enhanced their transport fleet with the recent addition of an IVECO Stralis AD260S460YFSD. They now boast a five strong vehicle fleet, ready to deliver their equipment to construction and outside event sites, nationwide.
Working in close liaison with Guest Truck and Van of Peterborough, GT Trax equipped the Stralis with a variety of factory options including; a rear steel axle, a 5100mm wheelbase, a sleeper cab, together with alloy fuel and air tanks.
However, this is a Stralis with a big and noticeable difference!
GT Trax's Stralis is fitted with a rear mounted Palfinger Epsilon Q150/Z84 crane with remote control. This is an absolutely essential tool that will help GT Trax's site crews to safely deliver and install their new line of temporary roadway systems. To accommodate the wide range of equipment in the GT Trax rental fleet, the Stralis was designed with an impressive combined overall length of 17.5m; which includes a tri-axle flatbed trailer.
This Stralis joins two 3.5 tonne Iveco Daily crew cabs and one 7 tonne Iveco Daily crew cab, all previously supplied by Guest Truck and Van. However, the Stralis is their first HGV and is set to become the flagship of the GT Trax vehicle fleet.
The whole process from initial enquiry to vehicle delivery straddled several months. Guest Truck and Van worked alongside several notable suppliers to deliver the Stralis to GT Trax's exact specifications. Other contributors were; TH White, who provided the flatbed body; Adcliffe, who built the essential drawbar trailer which attaches itself to the back of the Stralis, and finally Graffit, who completed the sign writing. The Stralis was ultimately delivered with the GT Trax memorable logo prominently displayed on both the cab and trailer
The Stralis made its debut at the Showman’s Show – an outside trade show for event, festival and party organisers. The Stralis was placed directly in front of the main entrance to the Show, so that all the visitors were treated to a lasting view of this impressive vehicle.
Formed in 2005 and based in Cambridgeshire, GT Trax are renowned suppliers to both construction firms and outside event organisers.
